Adult Individual Counseling
We work with adults navigating anxiety, PTSD, burnout, parenting stress, postpartum concerns, life transitions, grief, trauma, or simply feeling stuck. Therapy is a space to process what you’re carrying, gain insight, and move toward clarity and peace.
If you don’t see your specific concern listed here, feel free to reach out — we’re happy to talk more and help you determine if we’re a good fit for your needs.
No. We go at your pace. You don’t have to dive into your deepest struggles during the first session. Building safety and trust is just as important as the content itself.
That’s okay! We’ll guide you through the process and check in regularly to make sure you feel supported. There’s no right or wrong way to begin.
Therapy doesn’t make life’s stressors disappear, but it can help you respond to them differently. Over time, you may notice that situations that once felt overwhelming become more manageable. That’s because therapy helps strengthen your ability to stay grounded and present, even when things feel hard.
This is often referred to as expanding your “window of tolerance” — your nervous system becomes better able to handle stress without shutting down or becoming overwhelmed. You may find yourself feeling more regulated, more self-aware, and more confident in how you respond to challenges.
These shifts may be subtle at first, but they’re meaningful signs that healing and growth are taking place.
Your records are private and protected. In most cases, only your therapist and our administrative team have access for clinical care, scheduling, and billing purposes.
If you’d like someone else (such as a family member, physician, or outside provider) to receive information, we’ll need your written permission through a signed release of information. You can update or revoke that permission at any time.
There are a few situations where confidentiality may be legally limited—such as concerns about safety, suspected abuse or neglect, a court order, or insurance requests related to medical necessity.
You can find more details about your rights and our privacy practices in the Notice of Privacy Practices, located at the bottom right corner of our website.
Yes, EMDR and Sand Tray Therapy may be used as part of your counseling experience when appropriate. These approaches are integrated into sessions based on your needs, goals, and preferences.
If one of our therapists is trained in EMDR or Sand Tray, and it aligns with your treatment plan, they may incorporate it as part of your work together. We’ll always discuss options with you and ensure that anything used feels supportive and aligned with your comfort level.
