Registered Play Therapist™ (RPT™) Supervision
As a Registered Play Therapist-Supervisor (RPT-S), I offer supervision for clinicians pursuing their RPT credentials through the Association for Play Therapy (APT). Supervision integrates theory, case conceptualization, and experiential tools.Â
Individuals seeking the RPT credential typically need to hold a master’s degree or higher in a mental health field—such as counseling, psychology, social work, or marriage and family therapy—and must be licensed as a mental health professional.
I am able to supervise clinicians in any U.S. state who meet APT’s eligibility criteria and are working toward their RPT certification.
Supervision includes support with:
APT documentation and requirements
Clinical skills and integration of play therapy theory
Ethical decision-making and self-reflection
Building confidence as a play therapist or supervisor
I offer guidance on documentation, APT requirements, and play therapy best practices. Learn More: Association for Play Therapy
Child-Centered Play Therapy (CCPT) Supervision
I am a Certified Child-Centered Play Therapy Supervisor and offer supervision toward CCPT certification through the UNT Center for Play Therapy. Sessions focus on strengthening the foundational skills of presence, empathy, and trust within the playroom.
I can supervise any mental health professional who meets CCPT eligibility guidelines—meaning they must hold a current, active, and unconditional license to independently provide clinical mental health services in counseling, marriage and family therapy, psychiatry, psychology, or social work.
Supervision aligns with UNT’s standards and includes case review, skills development, and reflective feedback.
